Launch of the new regional hub in Hamburg

The top priority in our sustainability efforts is maximum possible fuel efficiency and further reduction of CO2 emissions. We shorten the line network kilometres per package through intelligent and economical routing.

We are therefore very pleased that a new regional hub will be integrated into our network in Hamburg on the night of 6 to 7 September.

Since 2020, the colleagues on site and those responsible for route network optimisation have been preparing for this day. The ever-increasing volumes of parcels and thus high load and capacity limits of the other regional hubs and the central hub have made this step necessary.

At the start, 10 GO! stations are already connected to the regional hub; more are to be connected in the future.
