GO! Ulm is responding to the ongoing volume growth and the requirements for sustainable logistics flows by relocating to a larger site in Neu-Ulm.

“The relocation into the larger site is a fundamental stone in order to implement a new GO! Regio-HUB which will be launched in the near future“, explains Simon Koch, manager of the Ulm station.“ Then, for the time being, around 1,000 shipments weighing a good 8 tons will be sorted on the conveyor system to assist our central hub in Niederaula and the regional hub in Heilbronn.“ Additionally, do we optimize the handling times for our customers, but also take environmental protection aspects into account, because adjusting the routing reduces the line network kilometers traveled per parcel.

The new location not only enables the commissioning of a new Regio-HUB. Overall, the GO! station in Neu-Ulm benefits from the expansion of space and capacity. With 1,140 m² of production and storage space, 17 Sprinter- and 2 truck gates, and more than 500 m² of office space available, Koch believes the location is well equipped for the future, because the 1,650 shipments currently picked up and delivered daily in the station area are just the beginning.
