GO! – price adjustment averaging 4.9 per cent
- extensive safety and hygiene precautions against the Corona pandemic
- investment in infrastructure to enhance customer services
- increasing human resources and transport costs
GO! Express & Logistics is increasing its standard prices by an average of 4.9 per cent from 1 February 2021 onwards. The Bonn-based express delivery and courier service provider is therefore reacting to the necessary safety measures put in place during the Corona pandemic, to increased human resources and transport costs and to investments in its own infrastructure designed to secure its future.
Necessary health and safety precautions – resilient supply chain
“As the quality leader in the CEP market, our aspiration continues to be to guarantee our proven high standards of quality“, Ulrich Nolte, managing director of GO! Express & Logistics (Deutschland) GmbH, emphasises. This means maximum safety and hygiene precautions to protect consignors, consignees, customers, couriers and employees – extra effort and expense that is also reflected as expected in our costs.
More customisation – investment in infrastructure and human resources
In order to be able to meet rising customer expectations in the long term, the company is investing primarily in its own infrastructure, like, for example, location upgrades to create increased handling capacities, the needs-based expansion of the route network by bringing more route, direct and chain traffic on stream, as well as the recruitment, retention and development of its human resources. With regard to enhancing customer services, investment undertaken includes that in the IT infrastructure, e.g. local traffic optimisation and customer loyalty. The company also anticipates increasing general costs for energy suppliers/utilities, insurance and for compliance with statutory regulations.
