New regional HUB connected in Neu-Ulm

The move to the larger property in July was a necessary cornerstone for the implementation of a new GO! regional hub, which was launched on 10 October 2022. From now on, around 1,000 consignments weighing a good 8 tonnes will be sorted on the conveyor system for the time being, in order to relieve the burden on our central hub in Niederaula and the Regio-HUB in Heilbronn. In addition, we not only optimise our handling times for our customers, but also take environmental protection aspects into account, because the adjustment of the routing reduces the line network kilometres travelled per package.  

The new location not only enables the commissioning of a new regional hub. Overall, the GO! station in Neu-Ulm benefits from the expansion of space and capacity. With 1,140 m² of production and storage space, 17 Sprinter and 2 truck gates as well as more than 500 m² of office space available, Simon Koch, station manager of the Ulm branch, believes the location is well equipped for the future, because the 1,650 consignments currently collected and delivered daily in the station area are just the beginning.
